Marq Truscott, Principal

FASLA, Landscape Architect

Marq is a Principal Landscape Architect with over 35 years of professional experience. He has contributed tirelessly and effectively to his profession and is the quintessential representative of landscape architects in his outside activities as well. He is a volunteer leader, and in those capacities
educates key decision makers on the value of landscape architecture and design. He also contributes his expert insight to students, emerging professionals, and colleagues alike, and routinely lectures within
the landscape architecture program at University of California, Davis. Active in the community, Marq has served on Community Advisory Panels, Parks and Recreation Commissions and Planning Commissions. Further, his American Society of Landscape Architects leadership is very nearly unmatched. He has been the president of the local and state chapters three times each since 1995 and has participated within and chaired various national committees.

As a landscape architect, Marq thrives on complicated projects that are highly political. He is comfortable speaking within board rooms or in front of hundreds of concerned neighbors. He enjoys the collaborative processes involved with integrated project deliver methods. Marq believes that a successful project is elegantly designed, highly constructible, and looks great ten years later.
